In mid-May, Nathan Smith, Liberty Mountain's Marketing Director, diehard ice climber and author of Beehive Ice along with Jake Hirschi, Liberty Mountain's Product Manager took advantage of all the rain across the state of Utah. Heading to Utah's Uinta range where the elevation turned the rain into snow, the pair were able to establish the first ascents of a handful of ice climbs. This short video documents one of the climbs completed that day--May Showers (WI4-, Reid's Peak, Uinta Range, Utah).
