Singing Rock Kappa Featured in Backpacker Magazine

Backpacker Magazine featured the Singing Rock Kappa helmet in their Fall/Winter 2013 Gear Guide.

“With eight smallish vents, it aired out really well even when temps pushed 90ºF, and there weren’t so many large holes that I had to worry about tiny pebbles getting in.”

“I’ve gotten zero hot spots where the seams and joints rub, which is typically a problem for me. I’ve used it for everything—Vail ice and Eldorado rock in Colorado, and more.”

The Singing Rock Kappa is a lightweight and low-profile climbing helmet. It’s sublime design is comprised of a durable ABS injection molded shell with EPS inner foam that is mechanically attached to the shell. The “harness system” on the Kappa is fully adjustable and allows for a custom fit on any head size and shape. The “harness system” easily folds into the helmet shell for storage. The Kappa is perfectly ventilated for aerobic output in hot and cold climates. Securing a headlamp to this helmet is not problem, thanks to the four clips on the exterior.
