Beal athlete, Adam Ondra has put in some good time on what climbers are calling "the hardest route in the world." It has been announced today that Ondra has made the first ascent of the route he now calls "Change" and has given it a rating of 5.15c. This route is a 2-pitch climb in a granite cave called Hanshelleren near Flatanger, Norway.
The video below shows Ondra talking about the route and projecting it. We plan to post the actual send footage once it gets released.
As a Beal athlete, Ondra chooses to use the Beal Joker 9.1mm rope to master this dragon-like project.
